yeeeaaa, my dad does services(we own a mechanic shop) for the local stoneridge chrysler down our street, so im allowed to sit and examine all of there cars. there is an identical challenger one in there parking lot too. but with dealers, they put markup on there cars, so their 48,880 challenger is actually 59,995 with the dealers added markup.

@EscoNetwork Are you in NJ?? Cause I am and my local dealer has this exact one also, up on the ramp out by the street. Warnock Dodge in East Hanover, NJ.

That was some awesome build up. I thought I was going to see the car tear up the street.

saw an r/t classic in this color today, a stunner!

  13. EscoNetwork says:

Also, it was listed for only $48,000. Where can you purchase this much car for only 48 grand? I think it was a steel. I’m still waiting to see what the 2012 Charger SRT8 and the white 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 will look like in comparison…and then I’ll more than likely get one of those. But I loved this Challenger.

  14. EscoNetwork says:

I saw this exact one today at the Dodge dealer in my area, and believe me when I say that the images in this video do it NO justice at all. The car was a complete beast.

The sales guy wasn’t able to start it up because they had just gotten it in a few days ago and the car is still pretty much off limits. But I got to sit in it and open the hood. Wish I could have at least listened to the stereo, but he and I couldn’t get it to work for some strange reason.

Mustang Nismo…. Two words you’d never expect to see back to back.

  17. GrimSRT8 says:

@SOFSoldier1 Yes I have dynoed a car. And anyone who dyno’s knows that some dynos run much lower than others…Say a Mustang Dyno. You can dyno one car on a Mustang dyno and get 400hp, and then go to a Dynojet down the street and get 500hp. They are VERY inaccurate. As I said before they are good for taking a baseline and then comparing gains after mods on the same dyno. It isn’t like the NIST is calibrating these dynos to be accurate to a standard or anything.

  18. SOFSoldier1 says:

@GrimSRT8 “aren’t ever really accurate” what? All three are “outside the norm”? Have you ever dyno’d a car?

  19. cadillacowboy1 says:

@GrimSRT8 thanks for your support buddy

  20. GrimSRT8 says:

@SOFSoldier1 I’ve seen it. But it is WAY outside the norm. So either the dyno needs to be calibrated, or you are talking about a factory freak. Some dynos run much higher than others, and some run really low. In reality dyno is only good as a tool to just changes in power before and after making a modification. Using one for bragging rights is silly since they aren’t ever really accurate.

  21. SOFSoldier1 says:

@GrimSRT8 see “national speed” dyno and “2011 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 HEMI – Chassis Dyno Test” on youtube- both are putting out 420-432RWHP. My 392 is factory rated based on the “Certificate of Origin” at “491 SAE HP” according to the certificate, and dyno’d at 433 RWHP at Bxter Dodge before I bought it-that translates into somewhere between 508-527 RWHP@.85 or .80 drivetrain loss.

  22. GrimSRT8 says:

@cadillacowboy1 Stock versus stock the 6.4L is definitely superior to the LS3. But once you start modding, the LS3 has all the advantages. But all it took was one drive in the Camaro to know I hated it. And this is coming from a guy who used to have a 1st gen F-body show car. Mustang and Challenger are MUCH better to drive than a Camaro. I couldn’t stand the clutch in the Camaro and the interior SUCKS.

  23. GrimSRT8 says:

@SOFSoldier1 Most cars I am seeing have dynoed in the 400-410 range at the wheels with the new 392. That being said, you are over estimating HP at the crank. These are fairly efficient cars. The factory estimate at the crank is probably fairly close to accurate, but slightly underrated. Of course crank HP is meaningless, all the matters is what is at the wheels and/or time slips.

And BTW, Green With Envy looks AWESOME in person.

  24. cadillacowboy1 says:

@mcdoogle6969 (texas fist to face) (and you are laying on the ground) bitch you dont know your shit….
475 hp vs 426?? ill take the challenger. ( walk to my challenger, and drive away with you in a coma)

  25. dcs0582 says:

I love the Challenger. I even like the new Camaro EXCEPT for the back. Whoever designed the tail lights and ugly-ass rear end is a friggin’ moron.
