Question by Seaches: What do you like better, dodge challenger or chevrolet camaro?
What do you think is better in term of looks, not power? What color would you also pick?
Best answer:
Answer by Banger
Challenger for looks.
Camaro for power with decent fuel economy (the V6 is really the best of both worlds).
Mustang for the win.
Bright colors are best. Red, black or blue. Yellow, not so much. Challenger in white is always tasty, sort of like Vanishing Point, that old movie from the 1970s where the guy runs from the police in his Challenger.
What do you think? Answer below!

the challenger is the more retro themed than the camaro and mustang.. but the challenger is obviously oversized, looks like a mobile traylor on 13′s. the camaro, the front end looks like it was done on a last minute by a 2nd grader. the tail end, needs to be redone.
but overall i think the camaro looks better than the challenger.. but the mustang looks the best.
blaze, the ss out powers it and puts up a quicker 1/4. the ss beats the challenger in all specs. the mustang 100- hp, run the exact same specs as the challenger.
Challenger for looks and power if you compare the SRT8 to SS.
challenger, the camaro’s are ugly
and im a mopar guy
I’m a Chevy guy and I hate to say it, but the Challenger looks better than the Camaro. However the Camaro SS has way more power than the Challenger so I would buy the SS.
I assume that, by not mentioning the Mustang here, you are acknowledging the obvious: It is easily the best looking modern Pony car.
I bought a Mustang GT myself, but in Canada in comes with a limited-slip. Don’t know why it comes with a live-axle elsewhere. I’m gonna drop about 5k Cdn on it, should be up to 420hp / 465lbs/ft. It’s 300 lbs lighter than the Camaro (yay aluminium block!), and 500 lbs lighter than the Dodges.
I can do this using only Ford Racing parts, so it will still be fully warrantied, and I’ll still have saved thousands over a Camaro or a Dodge.
I just wish they made some sort of luxury version. The whole ‘retro’ interior is a veiled excuse to not put in such no-brainer functions like auto-on headlights, proper climate control, and a thermostat. Also, the retro speedometer probably makes sense in MPH, but in KPH its too cluttered for a 180-degree gauge.
